Typically used for baseball cages at high school level - for homes or schools or clubs - does not fade much or soak up water.

#36 Nylon Baseball Netting:  3.75" stretch mesh (1 3/4"squares) hung on the square
Nylon is traditional netting and is often specified for project. 
It is an organic material so it tends to stretch and loose strength when wet.  
It also tends to fade and is generally heavy - but is strong and abrasion resistant
It can be fire-retardant treated for indoor use.

Specification:
Yarn:  High Tenacity Type 6 Industrial Grade Nylon Filament
Construction:  3 strand, Z twist primary into S twist secondary
Yield:  29-30 square feet to pound
Tensile Strength:  330 pound
Price based on the panel edging requirements - usually around $.85 per square foot

#21, #36, and #42 nylon netting  (higher the number, the thicker the twine)
For la crosse -  1 1/2"squares #36 netting or #42 netting
For soccer, basketball, and volleyball -  3"squares  #21 netting
Golf Netting - usually a knotless 3/4" square
Specialty netting depend on grade and edges.



Golf Netting - for cages and safety
If you plan to tee off into, typically you need a strong netting that might be doubled to add safety / slow ball.
Usually a black nylon knotless netting is used.
Typical golf cages are 10 'x 10' x 10'   ~ or custom
Netting pieces usually start around $1.00 a square foot depending on edge style


Golf Netting / barrier netting - for glancing blows and golf ranges
If you have a large area to cover - like on the sides of golf courses - large bales are used, to be hung from cables.
Typically we use an olifin fiber netting - that comes in green or black bales.
Check for sizing - typically 150' long x 6'6" tall,  10' tall, 12' 6"tall, 15' tall, 20' tall, 25' tall, or 40' tall.
Netting bales usually start around $.35 a square foot
